Restylane
Restylane is one of the safest dermal fillers available today. It is a
natural cosmetic filler that restores volume to the skin to eliminate
facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.
Restylane is the first and only cosmetic dermal filler made of
non-animal-based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural
substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide
moisture and fullness to the skin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is a
crystal-clear gel and it is biodegradable and completely biocompatible
with human hyaluronic acid. Since it is non-animal-based, allergy to it is
rare. Most common side effect is temporary redness and sometimes
bruising which resolves quickly.
Restylane has been used cosmetically over 10 years around the world
and is considered very safe. Most commonly it is used for deep
wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds or marionette lines. It is also
used to treat depressions in lower eye lids to bring back youthfulness
of lower eye lid skin.
Another common application is injecting into the lips to provide a

Effect of Restylane lasts several months and varies from person to
